Messages can be attached to patron accounts. These messages can be viewed and deleted by the patron in the PAC. All the messages are created by the staff.
Messages either come from a drop list of system-defined messages or can be free text. When creating a message for a patron, either provide the ID of a system-defined message or the actual string data with a maximum length of 500 characters for a free text message.
